- A choice of a manual or automatic transmission (subject to availability)
- Push/pull hand controls (subject to availability)
- Seating for 2 to 7 passengers
If you have any special requirements, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs with our fleet of specially adapted WAVs.
How does WAV hire work?
WAV rental is the fastest and easiest way to get you and a wheelchair user on the road. It works in much the same way as hiring a car does. The process is simple and with us you can rent a WAV for a few days, over a weekend or for more than a week. It’s up to you.
How much does it cost?
Our WAV hire costs are extremely competitive. We’ll provide a fixed quote when you enquire. You can hire one of our WAVs for as long as you like. Get in touch with us to discuss rates and availability.
We have a range of WAVs available for hire. These offer different seating options to suit your needs. Smaller WAVs are adapted to accommodate two to four passengers and a wheelchair user, while larger WAVs are designed to accommodate five to seven passengers and a wheelchair of mobility scoter.
WAVs are available with a ramp or lift system. Ramps are the most common system. These allow a wheelchair user to access the vehicle themselves, or a person can assist the wheelchair user inside. We also have vehicles with hydraulic lifts to accommodate larger items.
Full vehicle demonstrations
When you hire a WAV with us, we’ll provide a full vehicle demonstration of all vehicle features so you can familiarise yourself with them. We’ll demonstrate the ramp or lift system, show you how to adjust the seats and detail all other accessibility features. Rest assured, you’ll know how to operate everything inside your WAV before you head off on your adventures.
